We came to this industry the same way most people come to pottery — looking for creativity and a community that feels good to be part of. We think the tools that support this craft should come from that same place.
Compete on product.
Collaborate on character.
A coalition of pottery tool makers who choose kindness — always.
What this is
Most of us came to pottery for the community and creativity. We built companies because we love the craft — and we think the industry around it should reflect that same spirit.
This coalition has no age requirement and no format requirement. Physical tools, digital tools, resellers, educators — the pottery world is bigger than any one category. If you serve this community and share these values, you belong here.
The pottery tool world has been the same for a long time. We're here to change that — with fresh thinking, better materials, and a genuine belief that makers deserve better tools.
We disagree about what makes the best tool. We think that's healthy. What we don't disagree on is how to treat each other — with kindness, full stop.
The founding pledge
We came to this industry the same way most people come to pottery — looking for a creative outlet and a community that feels good to be part of. We believe the tools that support this craft should come from that same place.
We are competitors. We have different opinions about what makes a great tool, and we think that's healthy. But we commit to something that has nothing to do with business: we will treat each other, our customers, and this community with kindness and genuine respect.
We don't always agree. We always stay human.
